What Makes lip balm Vegan?
Lip balm can be considered vegan if it does not contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products. Many traditional lip balms contain ingredients such as beeswax, lanolin, and carmine, which are derived from animals.
To make our lip balm vegan, we replaced these animal-derived ingredients with plant-based alternatives. For example, instead of beeswax, we use candelilla wax. We also use plant-based oils, such as coconut oil, sunflower oil, etc (it may vary in different scent, please check our ingredient’s tab), instead of animal-derived oils like lanolin.
